Some 10 PPSU personnel under Kebon Bawang Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district were deployed to deal with the inundation that occurred on Jalan Yos Sudarso, precisely in front of the North Jakarta Mayor's Office.

"The inundation at the location ranged from five to ten centimeters. We'll take immediate action, thus it subsides quickly and does not disrupt road use," she expressed, Thursday (2/29).
She explained handling inundation was done by cleaning the channels and storm drains from garbage which caused blockages.
"Now, it has gradually subsided. We're always alert when it rains to anticipate inundation," she explained.
Besides on Jalan Yos Sudarso, PPSU from Kebon Bawang Urban Village was also deployed to deal with inundation on Jalan Gotong Royong and Jalan Swasembada Timur XI with a height of up to five centimeters.
"Insya Allah (God willing), with the personnel's quick action, the inundation in the area will recede in less than a matter of hours after it has been handled," she added.
Satpol PP Officer, North Jakarta Mayor's Office, Majid (44), he appreciated PPSU's quick action in handling the inundation on Jalan Yos Sudarso.
"Earlier, I saw that it was already being handled by personnel. Hopefully, the rain will stop soon so the inundation can recede soon," he stated.
